About Us Trinity Episcopal Day School (TEDS) serves children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years in our nationally accredited early childhood education program. The Oklahoma Department of Human Services rates TEDS a three-star facility, the agency's highest rating.
About our History Trinity Episcopal Day School was founded in 1979 in answer to a need for high-quality early childhood education in downtown Tulsa. Since that time, TEDS has become one of the most respected and sought-after programs in northeastern Oklahoma.
TEDS faculty members participate regularly in national and regional professional development opportunities, including the highly regarded National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) annual conference. In recent years, TEDS teachers also have won national scholarships to attend Dr. Becky Bailey's prestigious "Conscious Discipline" brain-centered learning workshop in Florida. TEDS collaborates extensively with other leading early childhood institutions and has served as a model observation site for undergraduate and postgraduate students from Oklahoma State University, OU-Tulsa, Tulsa Community College, and Platt College.

Hours & Operating Dates TEDS is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, to provide an extended day curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our families take advantage of both full-time (5-day) and part-time (2- or 3-day) enrollment options.
TEDS is open year-round, with the exceptions of spring break (of the Tulsa Public Schools calendar) and our annual one-week closure in August for teacher "work week" to prepare for the new term. Major holidays closings are New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Holiday closing schedules are provided to parents each school year. | Emergent writers are emergent readers. Literacy development is a key focus of the TEDS curriculum. |
